Same Day Edit Melbourne: Annie + Will

This wedding video was all shot, cut and screened at Annie + Will’s wedding. All on the same day; yesterday.

Annie + Will were very kind and generous to us. Getting to know them as we prepared for the day had us feeling like we were shooting at an old friend’s wedding, so we had a very happy time with them and all their guests :)

BRIDAL PHOTO SHOOT, MALAYSIA

White Heights Media bridal shoot in Malaysia

Thanks to our super helpful assistants for this shoot :) Xiao En assisted my photography aaaaaall day from when I first scouted the location for my initial set up shots, to the very end of our pack down after the shoot. You’re the best Xiao En!
Another big thank you to Jane, the 2nd model, who trusted us when we first approached her as random strangers, though I wouldn’t advise her to do that again :)

A special thank you note for my girls Naomi and Sharon for being my assistants on the day. You girls were really helpful and patient throughout the makeup, styling, gown changing and the actual photo shoot. The day really was hot, wasn’t it? And those scary mossies… Luckily we had a strong Australian insect repellant! We were also blessed to have Sabah’s finest hair and makeup artist: Audrey Lee San Chang.

BALI WEDDING VIDEO – PART2 OF EDWIN + RUTH

The internet is so slow in Indonesia, so it takes FOREVER to do anything online. Especially with video files this large…

Edwin and Ruth celebrated part 2 of their wedding at the Conrad Hotel in Bali, Indonesia. We shot their wedding video, and prepared this Same Day Edit for them too. Again, the main foundation of this video is the story they shared during their vows. The rest of the wedding activities are included around that focus. It was challenging to balance their playfulness leading up their ceremony, their affectionate words during their ceremony, and the strength of the song that this video is built on. By the end of the video I was able to bring everything together with their kiss and the cross. Perfect :)

MELBOURNE WEDDING VIDEO – PART1 OF EDWIN + RUTH

Film is more about showing than telling, so we don’t usually build a wedding video around verbal content. However, Ruth and Edwin’s wedding vows were a rare exception and couldn’t be excluded from their wedding video. We hope you enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed producing it :)

This is just the first part of their wedding, which was held in Melbourne. The second part of their wedding will be in Bali, early July :) We should be able to share their Bali wedding video immediately, because we’re producing a Same Day Edit for them there!

SAME DAY EDIT – WINNIE + TUAN

Our latest Same Day Edit!
Shot, edited and screened all on the same day under particularly challenging conditions (shooting outside a lot in 37degree heat, starting late on the edit because we weren’t allowed into the reception centre until after 4:45pm…). But Winnie, Tuan and their whole bridal party were so kind and friendly to us. Such a happy day :)
